Easter Corner Bookmarks
Corner bookmarks are a super simple craft that you can dress up any way you like. I did these ones with a springtime/Easter theme, and all three took me less than 15 minutes.
All you need is paper, glue, and a marker. And a tutorial about how to fold these. Scroll down for that:
Corner Bookmarks, Step-by-Step
Start by cutting a 6×6 inch square.
Next, fold the paper in half to form a triangle.
Next fold each of the sides into the center.
Then unfold the edges to get this:
Now fold the center piece down, then fold each of the sides over it.
And that’s it! Here’s your corner bookmark!
As for decorating, here’s the breakdown for each.
Bunny
The bunny gets a pink triangle cut from construction paper glued on for his nose. The ears are cut from white paper with pink insides glued on. The eyes are actually the same for each. I used the back end of a baby medicine dropper to trace a circle on white paper, then cut it out and drew in the eyes with a marker and glued them onto the base. The final touch is the whiskers, done with a marker.
Chick
The chick is super simple. All he needs is an orange triangle for the beak, and the eyes traced from a small round and colored with a marker.
Sheep
The sheep is cut from black construction paper. Sheep are really easy to make. It’s just three U shapes, two shorter for the ears and one longer for the face, then connect them with a line above and cut out. The eyes are traced from a small circle with the pupils colored in with marker. The finishing touch is two little lines to make the nose.
And there you have it. Super easy and really very cute!
