How to use this easy Easter word search
At home
This is a fun activity for personal use. You can include this in your holiday celebrations as an fun way to keep kids busy while you prep Easter dinner. Word search games have the benefit of being relatively quiet, require very little adult supervision, and keep young children engaged and using their problem-solving skills!
Pair this fun activity with Easter Mad Libs to keep kids busy even longer. They’ll have a wonderful time, and you can get that Easter egg hunt set up!
At school
I’m an English Language Arts teacher myself, and I use word searches for my early finishers all the time! In fact, this printable was initially built for classroom use.
The level of this Easter word scramble makes it a perfect independent enrichment activity for elementary school. It even encourages close reading and visual kills.
You can also use it with older kids: it would also be the perfect way to help students with low English levels pick up new vocabulary in both middle school and high school. It does, after all, use many of the most common spring words.
It would also be fun as a quick game for a whole-class Easter activity.For this, I would suggest lower elementary, like 1st grade or 2nd grade. It might be too simple for the whole class in the upper grades.

The font is large enough that it’s still easy to read as a half-sheet. The perfect solution for paper limits (Does your school have those? Ugh.)
