If you’re looking for a very simple Halloween craft, then you’ve come to the right place. Aside from painting the popsicle sticks, these spooky spider webs take less than 15 minutes to make. They only need a few materials and are easy enough for kids.
Materials:
3 popsicles sticks
paint (opt)
4 ft yarn
medium sized pompom
small pompom
pipe cleaner
hot glue
Spider Webs, Step-by-Step
If you want to paint your sticks, start there and let them dry. You’ll need 3 for each spider web. Once they’re dry, glue them together in a snowflake shape.
Now you’ll get your yarn out and glue it to the back of the snowflake.
Now you’ll wrap the yarn around the sticks. I did three rounds, then glued the yarn to end it. I left the end to use for hanging.
For the little spider, you glue the medium sized pompom to the small one.
Then, cut four 2 inch sections from the pipe cleaner, then twist them together and fan them out (they’re going to be the legs). Hot glue them to the bottom of the spider.
Once you’ve got your cute little spider ready to go, glue him on the spider web and hang it up!
