Korean Beef and Veggies
I’m sure you’ve seen the super cheap, super simple Korean beef recipe rolling around. This is just a quick variation on that one – basically, I wanted some more veggies. I mean, why not? If the sauce tastes that good on plain old ground beef, why wouldn’t it taste amazing on some stir fry vegetables?
Spoiler alert: It does taste that good. I love the mix of sweet, salty, and fiery that this dish brings to the table. It has such simple ingredients and can be made with stuff right from your freezer, so talk about easy!
Korean Beef and Veggies
Ingredients
- 1 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups frozen stir-fry veggies
- â…“ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in frying pan.
- Add stir fry veggies and fry until cooked.
- Add brown sugar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder. Fry ground beef and veggies in sauce for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over warm rice.
Notes
This is the only Korean dish I’ve ever tried and it is sooooo good, I’m ready for some more.

I read your recipe and not having any frozen vegetables I used slivered onions, thinly sliced carrots, red bell pepper, and thinly sliced cabbage. What a feast! Thank you for the great recipe.
