Mile-High Biscuits

Light and fluffy biscuits with a buttery flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • cup cold butter
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until dough becomes elastic and soft, about 15 times.
  • Roll out dough to 1" thickness and cut into circles.
  • Bake at 425° for 10-15 minutes or until biscuits are golden.

Notes

You can skip the kneading and cutting steps and drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheet for drop biscuits.
