Ingredients

Donuts Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-3 overripe bananas
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Chocolate Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 1-3 Tbsp water

Instructions

Making the Donuts

  • Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, bananas, milk, and lemon juice.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix.
  • Place batter in Ziploc bag. Cut off a corner and pipe into greased donut pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.

Making the Chocolate Glaze

  • Mix together all ingredients except water.
  • Add water by tablespoons until glaze reaches desired consistency.
  • Dip donuts into glaze and allow glaze to set.
