Strawberry Sweet Rolls
Light and fluffy sweet rolls with a fresh strawberry filling

Ingredients
Sweet Rolls

pkg yeast

warm water
¼
cup
warm milk
¼
cup
sugar

tsp
salt

egg

cup
butter
softened
2 ¼
cups
flour
Strawberry Filling
4
cups
strawberries
chopped (if using frozen, thaw and drain)
½
cup
sugar
1
tsp
lemon juice
2
Tbsp
cornstarch
Glaze
1
cup
powdered sugar
2
tsp
milk
Instructions
Mix together sugar and warm water. Add yeast and allow to proof for 5 minutes.
Add milk, salt, eggs, and butter. Mix together.
Mix in flour until dough cleans itself from sides of mixer.
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until it becomes soft and elastic (3-5 minutes).
Place dough in greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Punch dough down, then roll into a rectangle.
Mix together filling ingredients. Spread over dough.
Roll dough and cut into rolls. Place rolls in a greased 13x9 pan.
Allow dough to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
Mix together glaze ingredients. Drizzle over finished rolls.
