Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2-3 overripe bananas
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips

Instructions

  • Mix together butter, sugar, bananas, lemon juice, and milk.
  • Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add chocolate chunks or chips.
  • Spread batter in greased and floured loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.

Notes

For muffins, bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes. For mini-loaves, bake for at 350° 25-30 minutes.
