Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies
Light and buttery shortbread dipped in melted chocolate and rolled in sprinkles.

- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 ½ cups flour
Whip butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add flour and mix. Dough will be very crumbly.
Turn dough out onto floured surface. Knead until smooth.
Roll out dough and cut into shapes. Then place shapes on greased or lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 300° for 20-25 minutes.
Melt chocolate by microwaving in 30 second bursts, stirring in between.
Dip cooled cookies into chocolate and allow to harden.
Putting your cookies in the fridge will speed up the hardening process.
