Super Simple Dinner Rolls

Buttery, fluffy dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 1/4-3 ½ cups flour

Instructions

  • Heat milk and water to 105°-110°.
  • Add yeast and wait 5 minutes for yeast to proof.
  • Mix in milk, sugar, salt, egg, butter, and flour. Dough should be slightly sticky.
  • Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes, until dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Place dough in greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise for 1 hour.
  • Form dough into rolls and place on baking sheet. Allow dough to rise for 20 minutes.
  • Bake at 400° for 13-15 minutes.
