Shish Kebabs

Marinated meat and veggies grilled to perfection!

Ingredients

Chicken Marinate

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts

Veggie Marinate

  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 3 cups veggies of choice

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients for chicken marinade together in plastic bag. Chop chicken and add to bag, making sure chicken is coated in marinade. Allow to marinate in refrigerator for 1-3 hours.
  • Mix all ingredients for veggie marinade together in plastic bag. Chop vegetables into large chunks and add to bag, making sure veggies are coated in marinade. Allow to marinate in refrigerator for 1-3 hours.
  • Create kebabs by skewering meat and vegetables.
  • Grill until internal temperature of meat is 165° or higher, or bake at 400° until meat is fully cooked.
  • Serve over rice.

Notes

Note:
Make putting the kebabs together a party. Place lots of veggie and meat options out and let everyone make their own!
These are also great made vegetarian. Just leave out the meat and grill yourself some vegetables!
