Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub
Sugar scrubs are one of those DIY projects that are worth all the of the very few minutes you put into it. Awhile back, I did a rose sugar scrub made from my old Valentines flowers, and it has become a yearly thing. I love how smooth my hands are after using it, and I love the slight scent it leaves behind.
Another reason I love homemade sugar scrubs is that I have very sensitive skin. This means that anything store-bought and scented is out of the question for me, which is kinda sad because I love scented lotions and bath stuff. I don’t love my reaction to them, though. But making my own sugar scrub gets rid of all that because I control what goes into it.
This pumpkin spice scrub is so perfect for this season. It’s made from ingredients that are sensitive skin-friendly (or at least my sensitive skin), and the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger scent just feels like pumpkin pie and warm sweaters. There are only a few ingredients in this, and you can mix it together in less than 5 minutes.
And did I mention it makes a great gift? ‘Cause it does 🙂
