Doctored Cake Mix Cupcakes
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3.4 oz pkg vanilla instant pudding
- 4 eggs
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
Easy American Buttercream Frosting
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup shortening
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1-4 Tbsp water or milk
Cupcakes
In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
1 box white cake mix, 3.4 oz pkg vanilla instant pudding
Add butter, milk and eggs to the dry ingredient. Mix until you have a smooth cupcake batter.
4 eggs, 1/3 cup melted butter, 1 cup milk
Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. Spoon batter into liners. Fill until liners are 1/2 full.
Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes.
Buttercream Frosting
Beat butter, shortening, and vanilla.
1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup shortening, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Add in powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until well mixed in.
4 cups powdered sugar
Add water or milk 1 Tbsp at a time until frosting reaches desired consistency.
