Pepperoni Pita Pizzas

Delicious personal pizzas with a healthy twist!

Ingredients

  • 4 pitas
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • crushed red pepper flakes opt
  • pepperoni to top
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Cover a baking sheet with foil. Place pitas on covered sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together tomato sauce and all spices and sugar.
  • Spoon tomato sauce over pitas and spread into thin layer.
  • Top with cheese and pepperonis.
  • Broil for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
