Tuxedo Fudge

Layered semi-sweet and white chocolate fudge - elegant and decadent!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup butter
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme
  • 1 ¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 of the marshmallow creme in one mixing bowl.
  • Place the white chocolate chips and 1/2 of the marshmallow creme in another mixing bowl.
  • In a sauce pan, melt 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup heavy cream, and 1/4 cup butter over medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil and let boil for 3 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into mixing bowl with semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted and ingredients well mixed.
  • Flatten semi-sweet fudge into greased 9x9 pan. Use a spoon sprayed with cooking spray to smooth the top of the fudge.
  • Bring 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup heavy cream, and 1/4 cup butter to a boil over medium heat. Allow to boil for 3 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into mixing bowl with white chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted and ingredients are well-mixed.
  • Pour white chocolate fudge over semi-sweet fudge. Use spoon sprayed with cooking spray to smooth the top of the fudge.
  • Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

You're actually doing the same procedure twice - once for the semi-sweet layer and once for the white chocolate. I actually do these at the same time. As long as you watch your saucepans carefully and don't let the sugar-cream mixture burn, there's no reason you can't do both at once and cut your prep time in half!
