These cute little hearts are the easiest crochet project I’ve ever done. They’re done in one round, and you can vary the size by changing your yarn and crochet hook. The ones in the pictures are done with regular 4-ply yarn and size I (red heart), size F (pink heart), and size D (white heart) hooks.<\/p>\n

These make perfect additions to gift wrapping, look great glued to a barrette backing, and make lovely brooches for Valentines. They work as ornaments, garlands, and so much more. Each one takes less than 5 minutes and only a few feet of yarn, so the sky’s the limit with what you can do. I used mine to decorate my Crocheted Winter Headband<\/a>!<\/p>\n

I did have to learn a new stitch (the triple crochet<\/a>) for this project, but it’s not that hard to master. If you’re a newbie like me, don’t let it scare you. The internet has wonderful tutorials that make learning these things super easy. Check out some of the ones I enjoy below.<\/p>\n
