Alex has a new favorite activity, and it involves Ziploc bags and eating entire loaves of bread, with and without peanut butter. In fact, he keeps getting into the under the sink area in the kitchen on his quest to steal baggies and fill them with flour. We’ve had to hide them up on top of the refrigerator, which I do believe is the only place in the house he has not figured how to get into #toddlerlife

Anyway, this bread in a bag is a really fun (and somewhat messy, just warning you) activity that kids will really enjoy, at least, if Alex is at all representative. It’s a standard bread recipe, but you do all the mixing and a good bit of the kneading inside of a Ziploc baggie. It actually makes a really decent loaf, as evidenced by this picture:

So it’s definitely something you could serve with dinner. I have eaten some of Alex’s loaves (when he’s not looking), and they taste great with just a little bit of butter.
