Making pizza jack o’lanterns is a family tradition around Halloween. Mom would make the pizza dough, and then we each got a portion to roll out and decorate however we liked. We’d have bowls of toppings to choose from, and the family would sit at the table and talk and decorate to our hearts’ content. Then we’d pop the pizzas in the oven and eat them for dinner. I loved it!

This is a tradition I’ve carried on with my family. Alex even participates by putting toppings on his (Mommy or Daddy have to do the rolling and handle the pizza sauce and such). I usually stick with jack o’lanterns, since that’s what we made as kids, but this year, I decided to branch out and try a ghost or two. What do you guys think?
