This is another classic craft for my family. For a few years there, it seemed like at least one person got soap on a rope for Christmas. And it’s not a bad present. The soap feels great – the oatmeal and oil  are soothing, and the scent of the soap is refreshing. <\/p>\n

This is also a super simple craft with a reasonably fancy result, which makes it great for kids. With an adult’s help to work the blender, the entire rest of the project is as tough as playing with playdough. That’s probably the biggest reason we kept getting soap on a rope for gifts. My brothers loved making it!<\/p>\n
