UPDATE: There is now a part 2 with two more eggless cookie dough flavors (pumpkin spice and double chocolate chip). Hop on over and check it out!

If you’re like me, one of the hardest parts of being pregnant is remembering not to eat the cookie dough. Who thought that would be so hard? There’s something about unbaked dough that the baked cookie just cannot deliver, and I miss it horribly.

After 5 months of dough deprivation (it’s a girl!!!) I decided to figure out how to make my favorite cookie recipes eggless. It’s really not that hard – want to know the secret? I just delete anything directly related to baking (i.e. baking soda/powder, that sort of thing), get rid of the eggs, and add either milk or water to make the dough stick together. With those modifications, you can create eggless dough from just about any cookie recipe. I’m working right now to make my double chocolate chip cookie eggless, and then everything will be right with the world 🙂

For now, I’m content with sugar cookie dough (find the recipe for baking here), chocolate chip cookie dough (baking recipe here), and oatmeal cookie dough. For all my pregnant ladies (and allergy folks, and anyone who doesn’t want to risk salmonella), each recipe is below.
