I’m really excited about this project today. These scratch ‘n sniff watercolors are so easy, but they’re out-of-this-world fun. With only two ingredients, they’re super simple, but they really work!

The colors are bright and vibrant (except the purple, which looks sort of black until it dries into a lovely, light lavender. Go figure). The smell is really fun, like a fruit basket hanging around. I love that you can both smell them while painting, and then you can scratch your painting later to bring back those lovely aromas. It’s really, really exciting. Even for me. And I’m an adult.

I used a muffin tin to keep my colors separate, but you could use little cups for this. Anyway, enough stringing you along. You’re here for the recipe, and here it is!
