This was a major hit with my kids, and it is the easiest thing in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My daughter is deeply into bugs right now, and especially butterflies. I originally was going to make this a flappy bird, but she was adamant: it was bugs or nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These wristbands are designed to go on a small wrist and allow the kiddo to flap his or her arms around and make the butterfly&#8217;s wings flap too. Pretty good for about 10 minutes worth of work!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fluttering Butterfly Wristbands, Step-by-Step<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/homanathome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Butterfly-Bracelets-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"butterfly printable (opens in a new tab)\">butterfly printable<\/a><\/li><li>toilet paper tube or paper towel roll<\/li><li>elastic string<\/li><li>scissors<\/li><li>colors<\/li><li>glue<\/li><li>hole punch or needle<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by printing off the <a href=\"https:\/\/homanathome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Butterfly-Bracelets-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"butterfly printable (opens in a new tab)\">butterfly printable<\/a>. Allow the kids to color it, then cut it out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, cut a 1&#8243; round from the toilet paper tube. Make a cut in it to split it into a half-circle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a hole punch or a needle to poke a hole in each side of the round. Thread the elastic string through and tie off.
