These cute salt dough hearts were perfect. His little thumbs fit just within the shape, and they make perfect necklace pendants for female relatives and great key chains for the males. These would also be great for Christmas and Mothers&#8217; and Fathers&#8217; Days.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Salt Dough<\/h2>\n<div class=\"fancymaterials\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">1 cup salt<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">1 cup warm water<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left; margin: 10px 0 0;\">Mix salt and flour. Add water slowly and mix until dough reaches a play-dough consistency. To harden, bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">First, mix together all the salt dough ingredients and knead until you have a smooth, play-dough like substance to work with. Also cut a hole to use for hanging the heart from a <a href=\"https:\/\/homanathome.com\/2021\/04\/washer-necklaces-2\/\">necklace<\/a> or key chain. They&#8217;re done when they&#8217;re completely hard to the touch. Allow them to cool, then paint!
