Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats
I don’t think I’ve actually expressed my love for Rice Krispie treats on this blog before, which seems like a huge oversight. Because I love brownies, cookies, and cake, but if Rice Krispie treats are an option, the others can stand to the side. I LOVE them!
And I practically never make them for that reason. I can have some modicum of self control around other snacks, but I will devour these puppies. And since I only make them once in a blue moon, I don’t even feel sorry about it!
That said, these candy corn guys are a super easy and fun treat that takes a ridiculously short amount of time to make (and eat! The treats in the picture were gone in about a half a day. Not even sorry). This is just a classic Rice Krispie treat recipe, although I do add vanilla to bring out the marshmallow flavor a bit more than the original. A little food coloring and a greased bread pan later, you have these little candy corn colored squares to share!
