Christmas Mini-Loaf Bread Wrappers
Gifting made easy! One of my favorite baked goods to give or receive at Christmas time is loaves of bread. I’m kind of a bread addict, so receiving new ideas for recipes is right up my alley. And I think baking loaves of bread is much easier than baking batch after batch of cookies, so it’s kind of a win-win for everybody.
These little bread wrappers are my addition to the standard loaves this year. I made mini-loaves, which I think I love more than large loaves – they’re just so cute! – and I wanted to decorate them and thus these wrappers were born. They’re sized for my mini-loaf pan (the six-loaf one from Wilton, not an affiliate link, just an awesome product), and designed to be used together or as stand alones. Just wrap your loaves up in saran wrap (I omitted that for the pictures – it makes the bread shine weirdly), then wrap these wrappers around, trim the edges, and secure with a piece of tape or a sticker. They look cute in a little box, or stacked and tied with ribbon or twine.
If you’re looking for bread flavor ideas, the ones above are banana chocolate chip. I have also made and love Starbucks Copycat Chocolate Cinnamon bread (no topping), Apple Fritter bread (leave the glaze off), Triple Chocolate Zucchini bread, Lemon Pound cake, and Gingerbread loaf. Some years I mix and match, others I stick with one flavor. Whatever floats your boat!
