It’s shortening! If you don’t have that, you can use double the butter instead. Your frosting will be a little softer, but you can refrigerate it to make it a bit stiffer if you need that for whatever decorating you’re going to do!

You don’t need to keep it in the fridge. As long as you wrap it up well with Saran wrap, the cake can keep for 2-3 days.
