Week 3 of the Body Beast has rolled past, and we are sick of lemon juice and olive oil on every salad. I hit Pinterest to find something flavorful, but still Beast-approved. Apparently, there are a LOT of people who want to be healthy, but can’t give up ranch dressing. That’s good, because it gave me plenty of recipes to choose from.
I picked one and began tweaking. I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. You will find that the consistency is a little less thick than bottled ranch, but the flavor is pretty good (or at least my Beast-deprived tastebuds think so!).
Start with the greek yogurt and milk, and whisk them together. We used skim milk, so we could be super healthy.
Next, you get to add all the spices. I ended up adding more garlic than in the recipe because we like garlic at our house.
Lastly, whisk the spices in, then let the dressing sit in the fridge for an hour or so. It takes some time for the herbs to flavor the dressing.
Once you’ve given the flavors some time to get acquainted, celebrate by having a healthy salad!
