Free Valentine’s Day Candy Bar Wrapper Printables

With these ready-made free printable Valentine’s Day candy bar wrappers, you’ll be ready for Valentines in just minutes! These are sized to fit a regular Hershey’s bar, and there are four designs to choose from.

You know what just about everybody likes to get for Valentines? Candy. Whether you’re preparing a gift for your significant other, friends, or family, these wrappers are the perfect way to make ordinary candy bars extraordinary!

On that note, my family had a cool way of dealing with gifts for others. When the candy bars go on sale, we buy a bunch. Then, we print off candy bar wrappers, wrap them up and hide them in a drawer. That way, if someone we weren’t expecting gives us something, we get a candy bar from the drawer and everyone’s happy! It’s one of those easy ways to look put together without actually having to have your life together. And that’s a great gift to give yourself!

Recommendations for Getting the Most Out of Your Printables

For best results with your free printable candy bar wrappers, these are the settings and materials you’ll want to make sure you’re using:

Paper

I typically print these on white, regular copy paper. You can also use plain white cardstock. These are not designed to be printed on colored paper, as the underlying color of of the paper will skew the look of the finished product. 

Printer Settings

These work best on a laser printer. 

For these valentine candy bar wrappers, I would recommed a medium or high quality setting. Low quality settings may cause issues like lines in the print, or colors that are not very vibrant. 

Also make sure that your printer is printing at 100% size. These are perfectly sized to fit a regular Hershey’s bar, and any changes to the printing size will affect whether or not your wrapper will fit. If you’d like to resize these to fit other sizes of candy bars, I discuss that below!

Cutting

While regular old scissors will do the job, nothing beats the clean lines of a paper cutter or paper trimmer. Since these are squares, I would recommend using a paper cutter if you have one!

​Candy Bars

These candy wrappers are specifically designed for regular sized Hershey’s chocolate bars. Hershey’s Dark Chocolate, Chocolate with Almonds, and Cookies and Cream bars are all exactly the same size, so these printables fit best on those.

Hershey’s bars are approximately 5.5 inches long and 2.7 inches wide. This means that they are pretty close in size to Nestle Crunch bars and Cadbury Dairy Milk bars. These chocolate bar wrappers will fit both of those, though you may have to adjust them slightly to make them look good. 

Resizing Your Printables

Most printers allow you to change the size of your print job. That gives us a little flexibility in printing these. Here are the settings you might need to accomodate different sizes in your bar of chocolate: 

• King Sized Hershey’s: These bars are 130% of the size of a regular. Set your print scale to 130% to get a wrapper to fit a king sized bar!
• Giant Sized Hershey’s: You’ll need a print scale of 150% to cover these. The ends might need to be trimmed to make this look good. This will also work on Giant sized Symphony bars.
