The hot weather has finally broken and this Alaska girl couldn’t be happier! Goodbye sunburn and sweat, hello comfy clothes, comfort food, and just generally being comfortable again.
Fall is such a beautiful season – the fruit on the trees is ripe, the leaves turn brilliant colors, and farmers have picture-perfect bales of hay all over. Along with several leaf crafts and tons of apple and pumpkin based recipes, I’ve been playing around with Adobe Illustrator and decided to celebrate the season with some of my favorite fall quotes. The result are these free fall printables. They’re size 8×10, so print them out, frame them up, and enjoy!
I’ve always loved this gorgeous quote by Elizabeth Lawrence. It’s gorgeously peaceful, and reminds me to stop and take time to simply be.
Anne of Green Gables probably takes the cake as my favorite book (except maybe for Harry Potter). She’s so unrelentingly positive, but not in a obnoxious way, that I can’t help but love her, and, of course, this quote 🙂
The watercolor background on this one was so fun to make. I’d really never used brushes before, but you can do so much cool stuff with them. I sense this is only the beginning…
Hope you enjoy!
