Barbecue Ranch Turkey Burgers

Barbecue Ranch Turkey Burgers | Homan at Home

This is one of my family’s favorite meals for grilling. The original recipe is for chicken burgers, but I have no idea where to find ground chicken (Is this a thing? Does anyone know where to find it?). We’ve subbed ground turkey for the chicken and the results are absolutely delicious!

Instructions

Start by mixing the ingredients together. I always have to use my hands, which is a little gooshy, but the result is worth it!

Then, split the turkey into 8 balls. Use your hands to flatten these balls to roughly the same thickness.

It was raining out, so I baked these, but you can also grill them. If you choose to bake, you’ll need to cook them for about 15 minutes at 400°. Halfway though, I like to baste them with a little thinned-out barbecue sauce. Just add water to a small amount of sauce and spread over the patties.

I use a meat thermometer to make sure I’m not giving anyone food poisoning. Make sure your patties all have an internal temperature of at least 165° and then you’re ready to eat!
